Why I Keep Going Back to Murray Chevrolet in Winnipeg
A personal look at my positive experiences at Murray Chevrolet Winnipeg, from honest service to friendly staff and customer care that really stands out from the rest.

I’ve had several excellent experiences at Murray Chevrolet in Winnipeg, and that says a lot. When a dealership gives you friendly service, honest advice, and people who actually seem happy to help, you notice pretty quickly.
In the car world, that’s worth its weight in gold — or at least worth not needing a second coffee before walking into the service bay.
First, their Service Department has been excellent every time I’ve dealt with them.
They’re friendly, professional, and, just as important, honest.
That matters to me because nobody wants to feel like unnecessary repairs are being “discovered” out of nowhere.
I’ve never had that kind of experience at Murray Chevrolet, and I respect that a lot.
One person who really stood out to me was Kayla Bender in Service. I brought my mom’s vehicle in because it was having trouble starting, and I was told it might take a day or two before they could even look at it.
But Kayla overheard the conversation, and even though it was late in the day, she said she would get it looked at right away. That made a big impression on me.
It turned out the battery was the problem, and because it was still under warranty, Kayla called me back with the good news that it was replaced free of charge.
I was very impressed with Kayla’s effort to help get the vehicle looked at right away instead of making me wait a day or two, especially since I had dropped in unexpectedly.
Well done, Kayla!
Another good experience happened recently while I was waiting for an oil and filter change.
I ended up having a friendly conversation with Grayson Murray, one of the sales managers.
He was upbeat, respectful, professional, and just a genuinely nice person to talk to. I’ve met a lot of people in the automobile industry, and honestly, some people you’d never want to do business with twice. But the people I’ve met at Murray Chevrolet have been the opposite.
It seems to me they’ve built a strong culture at their dealership on Waverley Ave. in Winnipeg, and that shows in how they treat customers. Good customer service doesn’t happen by accident — it comes from leadership, training, and a real commitment to doing things right.
Finally, I also want to mention Chris Mark, the Assistant Service Manager. The first time I brought my mom’s vehicle in, Chris took care of me. Again, I was impressed by his upbeat and friendly attitude.
The vehicle needed a ball joint replaced, and Chris even kept the old part in a plastic bag so I could see the wear on it and understand why it needed to be changed. That kind of transparency goes a long way.
Whenever I’ve interacted with the staff at Murray Chevrolet, I’ve left feeling confident that I can bring a vehicle there and be treated the way customers should be treated — with respect, honesty, and professionalism.
And when it comes to servicing and repairing a vehicle, that really matters.
